You want to know something that really grinds my gears...people who wear sunglasses indoors. It's a completely ridiculous look and has become one of my biggest pet peeves. It's quite prevalent at BU where many of the trust-fund babies who walk around think they're mini-celebrities. People just don't seem to realize how stupid it looks when people go inside but insist on keeping their sunglasses on. Girls in my classes keep sunglasses on during lecture; maybe it's for the brightness of a powerpoint slide up on the screen. Whatever the reason is, I can only hope the sun is setting on this trend.

Only reason to wear sunglasses inside is if you're sitting at the poker table and trying to hide your tells from Doyle Brunson.

even that bothers me to some extent...i can understand why it's being done, but people just look so out of place with sunglasses on in a poker room.

I love when you're playing at a $2-$4 limit table and someone is wearing sunglasses like he's at the frickin' WSOP. High comedy.

What if a person is wearing the sunglasses for medical reasons? The person could have had their nearsightedness cured through lasik eye surgery like I did earlier this year. Maybe their eyes are sensitive to the lights. They could have just had their eyes checked during a routine medical exam by their eye doctor. Cataract surgery is another reason and so are other blinding eye diseases. Migraine headaches are another problem that is worsened by exposure to bright light. Do you guys ever think about these things? Will you please stop judging people you don't know when you haven't checked their medical records or asked them why they are wearing the sunglasses?
